Release times
Most US economic data comes out at 8:30 am Eastern. The FOMC rate decision is at 2:00 pm Eastern, followed by the Fed Chair’s press conference 30 minutes later. In Korea time (KST, UTC+9) that is late evening, or early the next morning for the FOMC.
Big Tech companies usually report after the US market closes, so in Asia the results arrive early the next morning.
Confirmed and estimated
- Confirmed: Listed in the agency’s published annual calendar, or announced by the company in a press release or on its investor relations site.
- Estimated: Not yet announced by the company, so the date is guessed from the same week and weekday as last year’s report. Companies usually announce 2–4 weeks ahead, so the actual date may differ. Fed meetings it lists as tentative are also marked estimated.
